I could never give my baby away!

We understand that reaction and agree. No one wants to ‘give away her baby”. But let’s look a little closer at this idea of giving. You give away a stick of gum or a piece of candy, but is making an adoption plan really the same kind of transaction? No. If you take an honest look you will find that people who choose adoption actually give something to their children. They give their children a family. They create homes for their children. Adoption is motivated by the desire to give more to your child than you are able to provide.
